Enterprise Portal: Adding an AX Web Control and Resolving the “unable to load content” Error

Answer

Summary is that when you going to deploy the EP project to Production server, your xpo should have all the objects and most importantly you have webcontrols, page defination and its web contents file.

You also needs to copy the web control and its cs file to the following location from Dev machine to Production machine, also needs to restart the AOS and refresh AOD options

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\14\TEMPLATE\layouts\ep

    Hello Amir,

Is there a way to upload dimensions in AX2012 using the Excel Add-in? We have way to many to have to enter them manually.

i think not with the excel addin, currently it is not that power full, instead you can user webservice and .net or xslt transformation to do that. require bit of coding in it.
